An attorney, retired FBI senior executive, and former corporate director, Owner Katherine Schweit brings a mixture of high level skills to provide no nonsense analysis and practical solutions, whether planning crisis communication strategies, developing litigation support, or re-evaluating an entire security program. 

Ms. Schweit is former state prosecutor, FBI special agent, and current adjunct law professor at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago and Webster University. She is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional with experience in both ethics and employee misconduct/compliance investigations. She has led government and private training development efforts across a variety of in-person and digital platforms to educate and meet legal and awareness requirements for private security officers, both armed and unarmed, as well as training in sexual harassment, insider threats, and risk mitigation strategies. She is a sought-after, nationally known expert in active shooter and violence prevention matters. 

Experienced journalist and a former public information officer for the FBI, Ms. Schweit managed complex crisis communications for the Pentagon and Holocaust Museum shootings in Washington D.C., Ms. Schweit and her team can bring vast practical experience developing media strategies for both internal and external use. Long-term, established relationships with national print and digital media allow her to position clients’ interests in the best light.

Katherine has a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University and a JD from DePaul College of Law.
